• Q: How long does it take to activate my order?
  • A: Typically we need 24 hours, but we may require up to 48 hours under certain circumstances.
• Q: If I rent a dedicated server from you guys, can I upgrade the hardware later?
  • A: Yes, all of our servers are scalable. Just submit a ticket requesting the hardware you would like to add to your server.
• Q: Do you price match local competitors?
  • A: Yes, if the specifications of a server you find are the same as ours and is readily available, we will price match. The final decision is at the discretion of the company.
• Q: Which control panels are available for a dedicated server from your company?
  • A: Currently we offer Plesk (highly recommended), Cpanel and Direct Admin.
• Q: Do you host Windows based dedicated servers?
  • A: Absolutely. Please select it as an upgrade Operating System option when ordering.
• Q: Are the servers fully managed?
  • A: Certainly - please select it as an upgrade when ordering. Without it, our basic management and hardware maintenance support will be provided.
• Q: What port speed are servers operating with?
  • A: All servers utilize 100 Mbps by default, but 1000 Mbps is available as an upgrade for a small monthly fee, as outlined in the Servers order form.
• Q: Do you allow IRC related services to be hosted?
  • A: We allow IRC related services, but as soon as they become a problem (such as attracting DDos attacks), we have the right to suspend your service immediately. Our service is more practical for the casual IRC user.
• Q: Why do the Windows servers cost more than the Linux servers?
  • A: These prices reflect the cost of licensing Windows.
• Q: If I cancel early, do I get a refund?
  • A: Early cancellations are allowed, but we cannot return any funds.
• Q: Do you handle domain registrations?
  • A: We are pleased to arrange domain registrations. If you wish to register a domain, please select this option when you sign up and we will organize the registration of your domain on your behalf.
• Q: What are the content restrictions of B2 Net Solutions?
  • A: No underage or illegal adult material. No child pornography. No Soliciting or SPAM. No Pirated Software, Warez or Cracks.
• Q: Is there a minimum contract?
  • A: No. You are not committed to a minimum contract. You are welcome to pay by the month and have no further commitment. However, we do offer yearly contracts. Please contact us if you wish to set one up.
• Q: How do I contact you?

• Q: Can I move from one package to another?
  • A: Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade to another package at any time. Just submit a support ticket and our sales staff will direct you from there.
• Q: Do you accept international orders?
  • A: Absolutely! If desired, we can host domain name extensions from any country.
• Q: Do you charge late fees?
  • A: Normally, we do not. However, if payment is outstanding (past 10 days) and the server gets disconnected, a reconnection fee will be applied.
• Q: Do you have recommendations about what kind of .htaccess file I should use?
  • A: .htaccess configuration depends entirely on the needs of your specific site, and as such is an administrative concern beyond the scope of Technical Support.
• Q: I was reading about secure FTP protocols but didn't understand. Is there a better way to upload files than FTP?
  • A: Secure FTP(sFTP) requires a username that has SSH access. To enable this access for a domain, you must give the domain administrator user SSH access.
    Once enabled, the domain's user should be able to login with sFTP.
• Q: Is there a server utility that will notify me in the future when a file has been uploaded to the site?
